Britannia Beach, British Columbia

Britannia Beach is a small unincorporated community in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District located approximately 55 kilometers north of Vancouver, British Columbia on the Sea-to-Sky Highway on Howe Sound. It has a population of about 300. The community first developed between 1900 and 1904 as the residential area for the staff of the Britannia Mining and Smelting Company.

Watts Point volcanic centre

The Watts Point volcanic centre is a small outcrop of Pleistocene age volcanic rock at Watts Point in British Columbia, Canada, about 10 kilometres south of Squamish and 40 kilometres north of Vancouver, and just north of Britannia Beach. It is the southernmost volcanic zone in the Squamish volcanic field and of the Garibaldi segment of the Cascade Volcanic Arc. The latest research indicates that it is most likely a subglacial mound.

Woodfibre, British Columbia

Woodfibre, originally Britannia West, was a pulp mill and at one time a small town, on the west side of upper Howe Sound near Squamish, British Columbia. The mill closed in March 2006.

Shannon Falls Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. It is located 58 kilometers from Vancouver and 2 kilometers south of Squamish along the Sea to Sky Highway. Shannon Falls is the third highest waterfall in British Columbia. The park covers an area of 87 hectares . Stawamus Chief

The Stawamus Chief (often referred to as simply The Chief, or erroneously as the Squamish Chief) is a granite dome located adjacent to the town of Squamish, British Columbia. It towers over 700 m above the waters of nearby Howe Sound. It is often claimed to be the "second largest granite monolith in the world. " The Sḵwxwú7mesh, indigenous people from this area, consider the Chief to be a place of spiritual significance.
