Mount Elizabeth Secondary School
Mount Elizabeth Secondary School is a public school in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada. The school was built in 1959 to serve the newly formed Kitimat, British Columbia. The building was expanded and improved in the 1970s and 1980s to compensate for an increase in population. The building now has a capacity of approximately 1500 students. However due to population decline in Kitimat, there is just a fraction of that today.

The Kitimat Valley is part of the most populous urban district in Northwest British Columbia, which includes Terrace to the north along the Skeena River valley. The city was planned and built by the Aluminum Company of Canada during the 1950s. Kitimat's municipal area is 242.63 km² (93.69 sq mi).
