Alliford Bay, British Columbia

Alliford Bay was a town on Moresby Island on Haida Gwaii. It is 15 kilometers west of Sandspit and is now a terminus for BC Ferries and North Pacific Seaplanes. During the Second World War, the Royal Canadian Air Force flew the PBY-5 Catalina in and out of the air force base located at Alliford Bay. Today all that is left of the base is a red cedar mill and a dry land sort. Several inhabited homes are still at Alliford Bay.

Skidegate, British Columbia

Skidegate is a Haida community in Haida Gwaii (formerly the Queen Charlotte Islands) in British Columbia, Canada. It is located on the southeast coast of Graham Island, the largest island in the archipelago, and is approximately 50 kilometres west of mainland British Columbia across Hecate Strait. Skidegate is also the northern terminal for the BC Ferries service between Graham Island and Alliford Bay on Moresby Island.

Cumshewa Inlet

Cumshewa Inlet, also recorded or referred to in exploration logs as Cumchewas Harbour and Tooscondolth Sound, is a large inlet on the east coast of Moresby Island in the Queen Charlotte Islands of the North Coast of British Columbia. The inlet was the site of various Haida villages, including Cumshewa (known as Thlinul or Tlkinool in the Haida language), Tanu (New Clew) and Djí-gua.
