Sheshatshiu is an Innu Federal Reserve in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, located approximately 20 kilometres north of Goose Bay. (Some references may spell the community's name as Sheshatshit — the t spelling is more traditional in the Innu-aimun language, but the u is used more commonly in English to avoid inappropriate connotations. The name means "a narrow place in the river".

Churchill River (Atlantic)
The Churchill River is a river in Newfoundland and Labrador which flows east from the Smallwood Reservoir in Labrador into the Atlantic Ocean via Lake Melville. The river is 856 km long and drains an area of 79,800 km; it is the longest river in the province. It was named Hamilton River until 1965. This river was originally known as "Mishtashipu" by the Innu, translated as "la Grande rivière" and "Grand River" by French- and English-speaking settlers and traders.
