Winterton, Newfoundland and Labrador
Winterton is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It was originally named Sille Cove or Scilly Cove. In 1912 the town was named Winterton for Sir James Spearman Winter, former Prime Minister of Newfoundland. Winterton is located on Trinity Bay on the western side of the Avalon Peninsula on Newfoundland's east coast. The town had a population of 518 in the Canada 2006 Census.

Turks Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador
Turks Cove was a settlement in Trinity District. The first postmistress was Bridget Moore. Other Post Mistrisses include Anastasia Antle and Alice Ryan who was postmaster for 30 years up until 1972 There are Antles, Ryans, Conways, Moores and Samms in the cove. The community has never had more than 60 people and now, due to the job opportunities in Alberta, population stands at less than 30. The cove is semi-circular and has some fantastic scenery.

New Perlican
New Perlican is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town had a population of 188 in the Canada 2006 Census. New Perlican is one of the oldest settlements in the province. the town was mentioned by name by Thomas Rowley, one of the first settlers at the Cupids Colony. According to his correspondence, he was making plans to move to New Perlican in 1619. We do not know if he did, but we know that by 1675 William Herfford and his family were living there.
