Our Lady Of Victory Church (Inuvik)

Our Lady of Victory Parish is a Catholic parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mackenzie-Fort Smith located in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada. The church building is often called the Igloo Church, and is a famous landmark in the region. It is the most-photographed building in the Inuvik. It was built in two years and finished in 1960. The interior is decorated with paintings by Inuit artist Mona Thrasher.

Aurora College, formerly Arctic College, is a college in the Northwest Territories, Canada with campuses in Inuvik, Fort Smith and Yellowknife. They have learning centres in 23 communities in the NWT. The head office for Aurora College is located in Fort Smith.

Inuvik Region, Northwest Territories

The Inuvik Region is one of five administrative regions in the Northwest Territories. The region consists of eight communities with the regional office situated in Inuvik. Most of the communities are in the Beaufort Sea area and are a mixture of Inuit and First Nations. Formerly, there was also a Statistics Canada designated census division named Inuvik Region, Northwest Territories, which was abolished in the Canada 2011 Census.
