Ayton is a community in the municipality of West Grey, Grey County, Ontario, Canada. Formerly the seat of local government for the disbanded Normanby Township, it is best described as a rural village nestled on the banks of the South Saugeen River and the centre of a prosperous farming area. Although mostly a farming community, Ayton does have an arena, LCBO Outlet, tavern, Lutheran church and a public school.

Clifford, Ontario

Clifford is a community in the Town of Minto in Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. The village of Clifford was founded around 1855 as Minto Village. After the opening of the post office in 1856, the settlement was renamed Clifford by the first postmaster Francis Brown after Clifford in West Yorkshire, England. Clifford was incorporated as a village in 1873. In 1999, Clifford was amalgamated with Palmerston, Harriston and Minto Township to create Minto. Clifford is home to Wightman Telecom.
