Kawartha Speedway

Kawartha Speedway is a 3/8 mile paved oval located in Fraserville, Ontario, approximately 10 km southwest of Peterborough. The paved track is within the harness racing track, temporary grandstands are brought onto the harness racing tracks surface. In 2006, Kawartha Speedway held the final CASCAR Super Series race before it became the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in 2007. Since 2004, Kawartha was the host of the CASCAR Super Series finale.

Bethany, Ontario

Bethany is an unincorporated village in the Canadian province of Ontario, within the single-tier municipality of Kawartha Lakes. Bethany is centred on Highway 7A. It is located a few kilometers west of Peterborough, the largest city in the area. It is a gateway community, in that it services the local winter sport ski hill (Devil's Elbow) several kilometers north of the village. Since 2000 there has been significant real-estate development, mostly in the form of individual dwellings.

Centreville Presbyterian Church

Centreville Presbyterian Church was established in 1833. The first minister, the Rev. James Douglas(s) (June 11, 1792-April 30, 1870), was inducted in 1834, a native of Monaghan, in Ireland, who came from a congregation in Lisbon, Pennsylvania. A frame church was built in 1852, and a new brick church building was constructed in 1863. The congregation remained with the Presbyterian Church in Canada during the time of Church Union in 1925.

Holy Cross Secondary School (Peterborough)

Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School is a Catholic Secondary School in Peterborough, Ontario. The school is administered by the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board. It was founded in 1998 and is located at 1355 Lansdowne Street West.
