Starkey Hill

Starkey Hill is the highest point in Puslinch Township, southwestern Ontario and is located southeast of Guelph, Ontario. The property is currently owned by the Grand River Conservation Authority and sports a 4 km (2½ mi) loop hiking trail. Parking and access to the trail is located off Arkell Rd. , 1 km east of Watson Rd. & the village of Arkell.

University of Guelph Arboretum

The Guelph Arboretum is modeled after the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University which was founded in 1872. The Arnold Arboretum is privately endowed as a department of Harvard just as the Guelph Arboretum is a department of the University of Guelph. The University of Guelph Arboretum was founded in the early 1970s and plantings started in 1971 which have developed into specialized gardens, botanical collections, and gene conservation programs.

University of Guelph

The University of Guelph, also known as U of G, is a comprehensive public research university in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It was established in 1964 after the amalgamation of Ontario Agricultural College, the Macdonald Institute, and the Ontario Veterinary College, and has since grown to an institution of more than 21,000 students and academic staff. It currently offers over 94 undergraduate degrees, 48 graduate programs, and 6 associate degrees in many different disciplines.

Alumni Stadium (Guelph)

Alumni Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It is home to the Guelph Gryphons soccer and football varsity teams. It was built in 1970, and has a fixed seating capacity of 4,100 with an additional grass seating capacity of 3,500. On October 27, 2011, it was announced that the stadium will undergo an $18 million expansion and renovation that will bring fixed seating capacity up to 7,500.

Johnston Hall (University of Guelph)

Johnston Hall at the University of Guelph was named after William Johnston (1848–1885) who was the founder and first principal of the Ontario Agricultural College from 1874-1879. Johnston Hall was built in 1931 as a student residence and home of administrative offices. Johnston Hall is the second building that opened in 1932 as the first building was demolished in 1928 - this is represented by the portico which resides on Johnston Green. The Portico was the front entrance to the F.W.
