Sand Lake is a lake in the town of Kearney, Almaguin Highlands, Parry Sound District, Ontario, Canada. An unincorporated community of Sand Lake, Ontario could be found just north of Sand Lake prior to the amalgamation with Kearney in 1979. Sand Lake is also host to only one camp, and much of the shore of the lake is Precambrian rock of the Canadian Shield.

Bourget is a village in Eastern Ontario, Canada, near the Cobbs Lake Creek, in the city of Clarence-Rockland in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. It was named after Ignace Bourget, who was bishop of Montréal from 1841 to 1876. During the 1920s, logging of the white pine forests in this area had left a barren sandy area then known as the "Bourget Desert". Since that time, millions of trees were planted and this area is now known as the Larose Forest.

The lake is 6 kilometres east of the community of Ravenscroft, just south of the access road to Rain Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park, and 5.5 kilometres west of the park boundary. It is about 1.5 kilometres long and 0.5 kilometres wide, and lies at an elevation of 424 metres .

Doe Lake is a lake in Parry Sound District, Ontario, Canada. The lake is composed of three sections and as such known locally for their size as Big Doe Lake, Middle Doe Lake, and Little Doe Lake. Doe Lake is the largest lake in the Almaguin Highlands area of the Magnetawan River system. The communities of Katrine and Doe Lake can be found on the Lake. The community of Katrine has a small marina and is found on the Little Doe section of the lake.

The lake is located in the part of Kearney located within the territorial district of Nipissing, but is however politically located in Parry Sound District. Geographically, Kearney spans both districts, but politically Kearney is located just in Parry Sound. The lake is about 1 km long and varies in width from about 300 m in the north to no more than 50 m in the south.
