Minaki railway station is located in the community of Minaki in Unorganized Kenora District in northwestern Ontario, Canada. The station is on the Canadian National Railway transcontinental main line, and is in use by Via Rail as a stop for transcontinental Canadian trains.

Ochiichagwe'Babigo'Ining Ojibway Nation

Ochiichagwe'Babigo'Ining Ojibway Nation, formerly but still commonly—and incorrectly—known as the Dalles First Nation, is an Ojibwa or Ontario Saulteaux First Nation located in Kenora District, Ontario near Sioux Narrows of Lake of the Woods. Total registered population in February, 2008, was 334, of which the on-reserve population was 127. A member of Treaty 3, the First Nation is affiliated with Bimose Tribal Council and Kenora Chiefs Advisory.

Diocese of Keewatin

The Diocese of Keewatin is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Canada. It straddles the border of the civil provinces of Manitoba and Ontario, comprising over 900,000 square kilometres. The diocese is geographically isolated, consisting of mainly small, and mostly First Nations communities. The largest of these, Kenora, Ontario, is also the diocese's See city. There are just over 11,000 Anglicans on forty-eight parish rolls.

CJBN-TV

CJBN-TV is the Global owned-and-operated television station in Kenora, Ontario, Canada. It broadcasts an analogue signal on VHF channel 13 from a transmitter near Norman Dam Road in Kenora. Owned by Shaw Communications, the station differs from other Global-owned stations in that is operated by the company outright, instead of its Shaw Media unit. Its studios are based alongside Shaw's local offices on 10th and Front Streets in Keewatin.

Husky the Muskie

Husky the Muskie is the nickname of a 40-foot-tall outdoor sculpture depicting a muskellunge in Kenora, Ontario's McLeod Park. The first Huskie was constructed in 1967 as a potential Canadian Centennial project by Jules Horvath and Bob Selway from Deluxe Signs and Displays under the direction of the Kenora Chamber of Commerce. Since then the effigy has received national recognition in part due to its size and position alongside the Trans-Canada highway.
