New Liskeard Railway Station is located on the north end of Jaffray Street (right across from the west entrance of Spruce Avenue) in the city of Temiskaming Shores in Ontario, Canada. It is a station stop for Northlander trains of Ontario Northland.

Great Fire of 1922

The Great Fire of 1922 was a wildfire burning through the Lesser Clay Belt in the Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada, from October 4 to 5, 1922. It has been called one of the ten worst natural disasters in Canadian history. The preceding summer had been unusually hot and dry. Fire rangers, anticipating the upcoming "burn" season, had requested to stay in the area but were not granted permission.

Devil's Rock

Devil's Rock, or Devils Rock, is a granite escarpment, located 5 kilometres south of Haileybury, Ontario, Canada. It is dated to be 2,200 million years old and it has a face of 600 feet rising 300 feet above Lake Timiskaming. People have been rock climbing Devil's Rock in recent years. There are five tunnels in the cliff's face that were made from rock blasting between 1907 and 1912. It is a local treasured area of beauty with hiking trails, and is often depicted in local art.

Cobalt railway station

The Cobalt Railway Station is located in the town of Cobalt in Ontario. It is a stop for Ontario Northland's Northlander trains. The station itself is occupied by the offices of the Historic Cobalt Corporation and the Bunker Military Museum; passengers must wait outside to flag down the train and purchase tickets once aboard.
