Addington County, Ontario

Addington County is a historic county in what is now the Canadian province of Ontario. It was named after Henry Addington, 1st Viscount Sidmouth. As an upper-tier municipality, the county of Addington was created on paper in 1792, but has never existed as a discrete municipal entity. From 1792 until 1864, it was part of the United Counties for Frontenac, Lennox and Addington. In 1860, permission was given by the Legislature for Frontenac County to separate.

Napanee railway station

Napanee railway station in Napanee, Ontario, Canada is served by Via Rail trains running from Toronto to Ottawa and Montreal. The one hundred and fifty year old limestone station is an unstaffed but heated shelter with telephones and washrooms, which opens at least half an hour before a train arrives. The shelter and platform are wheelchair-accessible.

CKYM-FM

CKYM-FM is the call sign of a radio station located in Napanee, Ontario on the FM dial at 88.7 FM. Owned by My Broadcasting Corporation, the station airs an adult contemporary format branded as myFM. The station was licensed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission in 2006, and launched in August 2007. With the flip of CFFX-FM as CKWS-FM in 2010 from AC to classic hits, CKYM-FM is the only AC station in Kingston, Ontario.
