Chateauguay River

The Chateauguay River has its source in northern New York State in the United States. It winds its way through several towns and villages in Quebec, Canada, such as Huntingdon, Dewittville, Ormstown and Châteauguay, before emptying into the Saint Lawrence River near Montreal. The river is home to many species of birds and fish and is a major stopping-point for migrating ducks and Canada Geese.

CINF

CINF was a French language Canadian radio station located in Montreal, Quebec. Owned and operated by Corus Quebec, it broadcasted on 690 kHz with a power of 50,000 watts as a clear channel (class A) station, using a slightly directional antenna solely for the purpose of improving reception in downtown Montreal. The station had carried an all-news format since December 1999, identifying itself as "Info 690".

CINW was an English language Canadian radio station located in Montreal, Quebec. Owned and operated by Corus Quebec, it broadcasted on 940 kHz with a power of 50,000 watts as a clear channel (class A) station, using a slightly directional antenna solely for the purpose of improving reception in downtown Montreal. CINW's previous incarnation, XWA, was Canada's first regularly operated commercial radio station, first signing on in 1919.

Lake Saint-Louis

Lake Saint-Louis, or in French Lac Saint-Louis, is a lake in southwestern Quebec, Canada, adjoining the Island of Montreal at the confluence of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers. The lake is bounded to the north and east by the Island of Montreal. Additionally, it is bounded by the Regional County Municipalities of Beauharnois-Salaberry, Roussillon, and Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The town of Beauharnois with its power-dam and canal lie to the south.

Kahnawake

The Kahnawake Mohawk Territory is a reserve of the traditionally Iroquoian-speaking Mohawk nation on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada, across from Montreal. Recorded by French Canadians in 1719 as a Jesuit mission, it has also been known as Seigneury Sault du St. Louis, Caughnawaga and 17 European spelling variations of the Mohawk Kahnawake. Kahnawake's territory totals an area of 48.05 square kilometres.
