Rawdon, Ontario

Rawdon was a historic township in Hastings County in east-central Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1798 and named after Sir Francis Rawdon-Hastings, 1st Marquess of Hastings. In 1858, the village of Stirling was incorporated and so became a separate municipality. In 1997, the village and township were reunited to form the municipality of Stirling-Rawdon, Ontario.

Ski Montcalm

Ski Montcalm is an alpine ski center situated in the town of Rawdon, Québec, Canada. The mountain, which is in the Lanaudière region, operates since 1969, the year the resort was inaugurated. The ski area is distributed on three mountainsides, accounting for a total of twenty-four trails.

Quebec Route 335

Route 335 is a north-south route from Montreal north into the Lanaudière region of Quebec. South of The Metropolitan 335 runs on Rue Saint-Denis to its southern terminus. Northwards until the Rivière des Prairies, 335 runs on Rue Berri south and Rue Lajeunesse north, then it runs over the Pont Viau bridge to Laval. In Laval, 335 once traced the entire length of Boulevard des Laurentides to the Pont David bridge on Rivière des Mille Îles.

Lac Dodon

Lac Dodon is an iron meteorite discovered by Roland Octerneau of Montreal on rural private property near Lac Dodon, Saint-Calixte, Quebec. The recovered fragment measures approximately 10 centimetres x 5 centimetres x 6 centimetres . The meteorite was oxidized on its exterior and lying at the surface of the ground.
