Battle of Trois-Rivières

The Battle of Trois-Rivières (Three Rivers in English) was fought on June 8, 1776, during the American Revolutionary War. A British army under Quebec Governor Guy Carleton defeated an attempt by units from the Continental Army under the command of Brigadier General William Thompson to stop a British advance up the Saint Lawrence River valley.

Notre-Dame-du-Cap Basilica

The Basilica of Notre-Dame-du-Cap is a basilica in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. It is an important Catholic sanctuary which receives thousands of pilgrims each year. The structure was originally built as a church in 1720. The first pilgrimage to the Sanctuary was made on May 7, 1883. Stade Fernand-Bédard

Stade Fernand-Bédard (formerly known as Stade Municipal) is a stadium in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. It is primarily used for baseball and was the home of the Trois-Rivières Saints of the Canadian Baseball League. The ballpark has a capacity of 4,200 people and was opened in 1938. It is currently the home of Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières of the Ligue de Baseball Élite du Québec. The Can-Am league will return in 2013 with the new Aigles de Trois-Rivières.

Circuit Trois-Rivières

The Circuit Trois-Rivières is a street circuit located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada and has been the home of the annual Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières since 1967. The circuit has hosted American Le Mans Series, Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, Trans-Am Series and Formula Atlantic races in the past. The circuit is located at Terrain de l'Exposition (fairgrounds) and is unusual in that it passes through Porte Duplessis, the narrow concrete gateway of the grounds at turn 3.
