Vonda, Saskatchewan

Vonda is located on Highway 27, a half-hour drive north east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The town was named after the daughter of British journalist Cy Warman. Vonda is home to the École Providence French language school providing Kindergarten to Grade 12, while Aberdeen Composite School in neighboring Aberdeen provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 instruction in English. The town also contains the Paroisse St.

The rural municipality in conjunction with the provincial government is in charge of maintenance of highways in its area. As well, the municipality provides policing, fire protection and municipal governance for the rural district, with a reeve as its administrator.

Aberdeen No. 373 is a rural municipality in north-central Saskatchewan, Canada on the South Saskatchewan River encompassing 673.43 square kilometers in area. It is located in census Division No. 15. The rural municipality has within its boundaries the towns of Aberdeen, Clarkboro, Edenburg which have their own municipal mayors. Laniwci, Strawberry Hills, and Strawberry Ridge are a part of the R.M. for civic matters.

Aberdeen, Saskatchewan

Aberdeen (2006 population 527, ranked 2,939th population-wise) is a small town in central Saskatchewan, Canada approximately 40 km northeast of Saskatoon on the Fish Creek in Division No. 15. Aberdeen was first settled by immigrants of Russian, English, Scottish and Ukrainian descent in the 1890s. The railway arrived in 1905.

Prud'homme, Saskatchewan

Prud'homme is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, located approximately 60 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon. Prud'homme was first known by the name of Bluebell Ranch, then Lally Siding. In 1905 the railroad came through and renamed it Marcotte's Crossing, two years later it became known as Howell, and finally in 1922 it was later named after the bishop Msgr. Joseph H. Prud'homme. The community is mostly based on agriculture.
