Quíquel

Quiquel is a rural area in the Dalcahue commune, in the Chiloé Island in Los Lagos Region, Chile. This place is located about 7 km. north of the city of Dalcahue. Its inhabitants work mainly in the salmon farming, and seafood industry. Most of the people raise sheep for its meat and wool; and other animals like cows, pigs, oxen, hen, ducks and turkeys. The area is surrounded by beautiful native forests, where different species can be found.

Dalcahue Channel

The Church of San Juan Bautista de San Juan de Coquihuil —Spanish: Iglesia de San Juan Bautista de San Juan de Coquihuil— is a Roman Catholic church located in the Chilean hamlet of San Juan, commune of Dalcahue in Chiloé Island. Commonly referred to as «Church of San Juan» —Spanish: Iglesia de San Juan—, is within the Diocese of Ancud; its construction was finished around 1887.

Achao

Achao is a town on the Chiloé Archipelago, in the south of Chile. The town is the capital of Quinchao commune on the island of the same name. Lying on level ground, Achao has a shallow sandy beach and is surrounded by hills. Opposite the town are the islands of Llingua and Linlín. The surrounding hills have a number of lookouts, such as the Alto de la Paloma lookout.
