Jinmu Cape

Jinmu Cape, is administered as part of Sanya City, Hainan Island, China. It is some 20 km (12 miles) from Sanya itself. The cape is notable for being the southernmost point of China (China's territorial claims to the Spratly Islands notwithstanding). A lighthouse is situated upon it. In 1996, the Chinese government announced that Jinmu Cape was to be considered one of China's maritime baselines.

Hainan Western Ring Railway

The Hainan Western Ring Railway is a standard-gauge railway running along the coast of the western half of Hainan Island in South China. It connects the provincial capital Haikou on the island's north coast with Sanya, the major city on Hainan's south coast. The rail line is 363.8 km long; its terminals are Haikou Railway Station and Sanya Railway Station. The Hainan Western Ring Railway has a long history, some of its sections dating to World War II.
