HVDC Three Gorges – Changzhou
The HVDC Three Gorges – Changzhou is an 940-kilometre long bipolar HVDC transmission line in China for the transmission of electric power from the Three Gorges power plant to the area of Changzhou. The transmission line went into service in 2004. It runs from the static inverter station, Longquan, 31 miles away from the Three Gorges power plant to the static inverter plant, Zhengping, near Changzhou.

The Dapingian is the third stage of the Ordovician and the first stage of the Middle Ordovician. It is preceded by the Floian and and succeeded by the Darriwilian. The base of the Floian is defined as the first appearance of the conodont species Baltoniodus triangularis which happened about 470.0 ± 1.4 million years ago.
