Wuhan

Wuhan is the capital of Hubei province, People's Republic of China, and is the most populous city in Central China. It lies at the east of the Jianghan Plain, and the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and Han rivers. Arising out of the conglomeration of three cities, Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang, Wuhan is known as "the nine provinces' leading thoroughfare"; it is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and expressways passing through the city.

Wuhan Railway Station

The Wuhan Railway Station) is located on the east end of Yangchunhu Lake in Wuhan, China, bordering Qingshan and Hongshan districts, and adjacent to the 3rd Ring Road. It is one of the harbor stations on the Wuhan–Guangzhou high-speed railway. Completed in December, 2009, the station has 11 platforms and 20 tracks. It serves the Beijing-Hong Kong high speed railway, the Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu passenger line, and Zhengzhou/Jiujiang-bound passenger trains.

Hankou Cultural Sports Centre

Hankou Cultural Sports Centre is a multi-use stadium in Wuhan, China. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 people.

Minsheng Bank Building

The Minsheng Bank Building (also known as Wuhan International Securities Building) is a supertall skyscraper located in Wuhan, China. The 331 m tall building was completed in 2008 and contains 68 floors. In April 2006, the building was topped out, becoming the 18th-tallest building in the world. Currently, it is the 32nd-tallest in the world, and the 15th-tallest in China.

Hubei Provincial Museum

Hubei Provincial Museum is one of the best-known museums in China, with a large amount of State-level historic and cultural relics. Established in 1953, the museum moved to its present location in 1960 and gained its present name in 1963. Since 1999 a number of new buildings have been added. The museum is located in the Wuchang District of Wuhan, Hubei Province, not far from the west shore of Wuhan's East Lake.
