Qidong, Jiangsu

Qidong is a county-level city in Jiangsu Province of People's Republic of China. It is located on the north side of the Yangtze River opposite Shanghai. It occupies a total of 1,208 km2 in land area, with a population of 1.12 million. The center of the city is named Huilong Township. It also has a well-known fish port called Lüsi town, named after Lü Dongbin, one of the eight immortals, who is said to have visited the place four times.

Qidong (meteorite)

Qidong is a L/LL5-an chondrite meteorite fallen in 1982 in China. After detonation a single individual specimen was found in the field. Other circumstances of fall and recovery were not reported.
