Nanchang Changbei International Airport is an airport in Nanchang, Jiangxi, People’s Republic of China.. It is located 28 km north of Nanchang. Construction began in October 1996 and went into operation on September 10, 1999. Nanchang Changbei International Airport replaced Nanchang Xiangtang airport which was a joint civilian and military airport. Donghu District

Donghu District, literally meaning "east lake district", is a district of Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, China. The district was created in the Tang Dynasty when a bridge was built across Nanchang's Taihu lake, dividing the area into the East and West Lake districts. It covers over 22 square kilometers and as of 2003 had a population of 440,000.

Battle of Xiushui River

The Battle of Xiushui River was fought in March 1939 as part of the Battle of Nanchang, northeast of Nanchang, China. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, Japanese artillery forces marched a long distance into the vast area of continental China. They were much troubled by bad roads. To lighten the burden on transport, many regiments replaced their artillery with mountain guns. Most fights in China were pursuit battles; large artillery battles seldom happened.
