Weinan Weihe Grand Bridge

The Weinan Weihe Grand Bridge (渭南渭河特大桥) is a part of the Zhengzhou–Xi'an High-Speed Railway which connects Zhengzhou and Xi'an, in China. The bridge is 79,732 metres (49.5 Miles) long crossing the Wei River twice, as well as many other rivers, highways and railways. Upon its completion, it was the longest bridge in the world, but surpassed by two new bridges on Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway that completed in 2010.

Dali (fossil)

The Dali Skull, or Dali Man (大荔人), is a nearly complete fossilized skull, probably representing an early form of Archaic Homo sapiens which lived in the Late Middle Pleistocene period. It was discovered by Shuntang Liu in 1978 in Dali County in the Shaanxi Province of China. The dating of the skull has been a subject of debate.
