Beiling Park

Beiling Park is a park in the northern part of Shenyang City, China. The park has an area of 3,300,000m², and contains many historic buildings, pine trees and lakes. In 1927, Government of the Fengtian Province (later renamed Liaoning Province) established the park, which includes Zhaoling, the tomb of the second Qing emperor, Huang Taji, and surrounding area. The construction of the tomb took place between 1643 and 1651. West of the tomb are flower gardens and east are several lakes.

Zhao Mausoleum (Qing Dynasty)

Zhaoling, also known as Beiling (Northern Tomb) is the mausoleum of the second Qing emperor, Huang Taji, and his empress Xiaoduanwen Borjite. The tomb is located within Beiling Park, in the northern part of Shenyang, in Liaoning province, and is a popular area attraction. The tomb complex took eight years to build (between 1643 and 1651) and has a row of animal statues leading to it.

Maoling

Maoling is the tomb of Emperor Wu of Han (156–87 BCE) located in Xingping, Shaanxi Province, China, about 40 km to the west of the provincial capital of Xi'an. The tomb is the largest of all tombs built during the Han Dynasty. It is a trapezoidal tumulus built from rammed earth with a rectangular base of 222 by 217 meters wide and a height of 47 meters.
