Jingyang Ridge

Jingyang Ridge is a place in Yanggu County, Shandong Province, China, that is referred to in the classic novel Water Margin as the place where one of the novel's heroes, Wu Song, killed a man-eating tiger with his bare hands. Jingyang Ridge is locate a few kilometers northwest of Zhangqiu village. It is a designated scenic area that protects a hill-top temple and several monuments related to the story of Wu Song.

Liaocheng

Liaocheng, also known as the Water City, is a prefecture-level city in western Shandong province, People's Republic of China. It borders the provincial capital of Jinan to the southeast, Dezhou to the northeast, Tai'an to the south, and the provinces of Hebei and Henan to the west. The Grand Canal flows through the city center. During the Song dynasty, the area of present-day Liaocheng included the prefectures of Bozhou and Jizhou.
