Sheshan Basilica

The National Shrine and Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Sheshan (Chinese: 佘山進教之佑聖母大殿; pinyin: Shéshān jìnjiào zhī yòu shèngmǔ dàdiàn) also known as Basilica of Mary, Help of Christians is a prominent Roman Catholic church in Shanghai, China. The name comes from its location on the western peak of She Shan Hill, located in Songjiang District, to the west of Shanghai's metropolitan area. Since the Cultural Revolution, the national shrine is the first historical basilica in Eastern Asia.

Thames Town

Thames Town is the English name for a new town in Songjiang District, about 30 kilometres from central Shanghai, China. It is named after the River Thames in England. The architecture is themed according to classic English market town styles. There are cobbled streets, Victorian terraces and corner shops. Thames Town is a part of Songjiang New City, in Songjiang District. The town is 4 kilometres from the Songjiang New City station on Shanghai Metro Line 9.

Songjiang University Town

Songjiang University Town or Songjiang University City is a tertiary education hub located in the outskirts of Shanghai in Songjiang District. The university town was established in 2000 and foundations built in 2005. It has an area of 533 hectares or 8000 Mu. The university town area is China's biggest tertiary education hub in the mainland.

Sheshan Golf Club

Sheshan Golf Club is a golf course located west of Shanghai, China. The course was designed by Nelson & Haworth Design, it plays to a par of 72 and measures 7,143 yards (6,531 meters). Since 2006 the course hosts the annual WGC-HSBC Champions, which is a World Golf Championship event, won in 2009 and 2007 by Phil Mickelson. The course is also featured in EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
