Sotang

Sotang is a village in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Sotang [सोताङ सोताङ]: Sotang is one of the villages scattered in the district of Solukhumbu, Sagarmatha zone in Nepal. In other word, it can be said "Sotang" is a village in Mount Everest region. The word "Sotang" is derived from "Sotto". Sotto was an ancestor of a Kirant dynasty in the region. Currently, the inhabitant of Sotang are mainly Rai, Chhetri, Kami, Sherpa, Tamang, Brahmin, Damai, Gurung etc.

Pêlung

Pelung is a village in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China in eastern Tibet. It lies at an altitude of 2544 metres (8349 feet). The village has a population of about 477 people. It lies approximately 10.3 miles north-east of Dongjug.
