Kaidu River
The Kaidu River, also known under its ancient name Liusha River or Chaidu-gol is a river in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China and an important source of water for the region. The sources of the Kaidu River are located on the central southern slopes of the Tian Shan from where it flows through the Yulduz Basin and the Yanqi Basin into Lake Bosten for which it is the most important tributary.

Yanqi Hui Autonomous County is an autonomous county in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is under the administration of the Bayin'gholin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture. It contains an area of 2,429 km. According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 120,000. The Qigexing Buddhist Temple Ruins are located in Yanqi County, about 25–30 km southwest of the town of Yanqi.

Tashidian
Tashidian is a town in the Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. It is located on the Kongque River and national road G218, about 10 km to the north of Korla. The town was founded in an effort to access the natural resources of the area. It is the site of a coal mine (Tashidian Union Mining Company) and thermoelectric power plant.
