Interesting facts about this location

Pinghu

Pinghu is a county-level city in northeast Zhejiang Province, just outside of Shanghai. It sits next to the East China Sea and the north shore of Hangzhou Bay. Prior to the Ming Dynasty, Pinghu was part of Haiyan County. In 1430 Pinghu County was established. In 1991 Pinghu became a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Jiaxing.

Jiashan County

Jiashan County (嘉善县; pinyin Jiāshàn Xiàn) is a county of Zhejiang Province, China, administered by the prefecture-level city Jiaxing. Jiashan is nicknamed the "The Land of Fish and Rice". It is 80 kilometers west of Shanghai, 95 kilometers east of Hangzhou, and 90 kilometers south of Suzhou. The county seat is located on 126 Jiashan Ave. , Weitang Town. The second campus of Sanda University, known as Guangbiao Institute, is located in Jiashan County.

Fengjing

Fengjing is a town in Jinshan District, Shanghai, China. An ancient water town, it also has a new town and an industrial zone. It is a centre for Jinshan peasant painting. Fengjing has an area of 91.7 square kilometres, and had a registered population of 63,400 in 2008. It lies next to the G60 Shanghai–Kunming Expressway and China National Highway 320.

Battle of Lize

The Battle of Lize (笠泽之战)was fought between the states of Wu and Yue in the Warring States period of Chinese history. In 478 BC, Yue attacked Wu and defeated Wu's army. After this battle, Wu lost much of its power while Yue gained much territory, reversing the strength of the two states.
