Huzhou

 Huzhou is a prefecture-level city in northern Zhejiang province of Eastern China. Lying south of the Lake Tai, it borders Jiaxing to the east, Hangzhou to the south, and the provinces of Anhui and Jiangsu to the west and north respectively.

Shanlian

Shanlian is a small town located in northern Zhejiang province in China, in the Nanxun District of the prefecture-level city Huzhou. It is renowned as the sole source of the prized Huzhou writing brush, which has been manufactured in the town for over 2,000 years. An extensive canal system criss-crosses the town, and a good deal of agriculture is done in the outlying areas surrounding the town.

Nanxun District

Nanxun District is a district in the prefecture-level city of Huzhou, Zhejiang province, China. Nanxun Town (南浔镇), an old town, is located in the district. It is one of the most well-preserved old towns in this region and is known for its cultural heritage. Other towns in the district include Shuanglin, Lianshi, Linghu, Shanlian, Qianjin and Shicong.

Lesser Lotus Manor

The Lesser Lotus Manor was built by Qing Dynasty merchant named Liu Yong (1826-99) in 1885 as his private garden. The centerpiece here is an immense lotus pond anchoring the southeastern end of the pond is a Western-style two-story red brick house that was used as a retreat for the women of the house. To the southeast are two stone memorial archways.

Sanshan Islands, Wuxi

The Sanshan Islands (literally three hill islands) are a group of three islands on Tai Hu lake in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China. It was a noted bandit haunt with temples and tall Buddha statues, the Lingshan Buddha on the Ma Shan peninsula being 289 feet (88 metres) high. The area is one of the Chinese National Geological Parks.
