Longwan District

Longwan District is an outlying district or ward of Wenzhou urban area (roughly equiv to Western "city"), of prefectural-level city (roughly equivalent to a provincial subregion) of Wenzhou (same name), Zhejiang province, China. It has a population of some 300,000 people and an area of some 279 square kilometers. It is famous for private enterprises, especially leather and the metal industry. Also, this dirtrict is one of the most important one in Wenzhou.

Wenzhou World Trade Center

Wenzhou World Trade Center is a 68-floor supertall skyscraper in Wenzhou, China. Construction of the building began on 9 June 2003 and was completed in 2010 at 333 m (1,093 ft), giving it the title of the 25th-tallest building in the world. It is located in the downtown area of Wenzhou where it stands as the tallest building in the city, the tallest in Zhejiang province and the 18th-tallest in China. The Wenzhou World Trade Center is to be used as office space and a luxury hotel.

Wenzhou Yongqiang International Airport is the airport serving the city of Wenzhou in southern Zhejiang Province, China. The airport is located 24 km southeast of the city. In 2010, Wenzhou airport was the 28th busiest airport in the People's Republic of China with 5,326,802 passengers.

China Southwest Airlines Flight 4509

China Southwest Airlines Flight 4509 (SZ4509) was a flight from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Sichuan to Wenzhou Yongqiang Airport, Zhejiang. On February 24, 1999 it crashed into a field while on approach to Wenzhou Airport, killing all 61 passengers and crew members on board. Witnesses saw the plane nose dive into the ground from an altitude of 2,300 feet and explode. Following the incident all Tupolev Tu-154 aircraft in China were taken out of service.
