Malinska

Malinska is a settlement in the northwestern part of the island Krk in Croatia and an important tourist town. It lies on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, in the picturesque bay facing Opatija and Rijeka. The municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica has 2,726 inhabitants and the settlement itself has 607, although in 1991 there were 999 inhabitants.

Haludovo Palace Hotel

The Haludovo Palace Hotel is an abandoned resort hotel on the Croatian island Krk north of Malinska. The hotel is named after a nearby beach. Bob Guccione, the founder of the Penthouse magazine, invested 45 million US-dollars in the project and officially opened the Penthouse Adriatic Club casino located in the hotel in 1972. Due to constraints on foreign investment in communist Yugoslavia, the hotel was owned by the Rijeka based Brodokomerc 'company'.

Biserujka

Biserujka is a cave located 6 km northeast of Dobrinj, in the village of Rudine, above Slivanjska Bay, in the island of Krk, Croatia. An undistinguished stone house in the middle of a bare karst landscape hides the entrance to a cave 12 m under the surface. Although it is not very long if compared to other caves, only 110 m deep, the Biserujka cave has everything that is characteristic of karst phenomena.
