Molat

Molat is an island in Croatian part of Adriatic Sea. It is situated near Zadar, southeast from Ist, separated by Zapuntel strait. It has area of 22.82 km². The settlements on the island are Molat (population 96), Zapuntel (pop. 58) and Brgulje (pop. 53), and they are situated in the interior of the island, and only smaller hamlets are on the seaside. Main industries on the island are agriculture, sheep breeding, fishing and tourism. It is composed of lower cretaceous and eocene limestone.

Ist (island)

Ist is a small island off the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. The closest city to Ist is Zadar. The island has an area of 9.65 km. Ist is located between the islands of Škarda and Molat. The entire island has a permanent population of 202. During the past 50 years it has witnessed a slow depopulation which has halved its number of inhabitants.

Škarda

Škarda is an uninhabited Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea located between Premuda and Ist (island). Its area is 3.78 km . The island had a population of 26 in the year 2001, but now the tourists replace them completely.

Zverinac

Zverinac is a small Croatian island in the Zadar Archipelago of the Adriatic Sea. It occupies 4.2 km and is populated by 48 people, with a population density of 11.429 persons per square kilometer. Its highest peak is 111 metres high. According to the Croatian Culturenet website, the island was first mentioned in 1421 as Suiran, a possession of the Zadar noblemen.
