Yabus
Yabus is a town in Blue Nile State in south-eastern Sudan near the borders with Ethiopia and South Sudan. It lies on the Yabus River. Yabus is linked by road to Kurmuk some 80 km to the north, but the road is only passable in the dry season. There is an airport at Yabus. A number of humanitarian agencies have been active in Yabus, including GOAL (of Ireland), ROOF (Relief Organization of Fazugli, Nairobi), CEAS (Church Ecumenical Action in Sudan) and SIM.

Bambasi (woreda)
Bambasi (also spelled Bambeshi) is one of the 20 woredas in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Asosa Zone, it is bordered by the Mao-Komo special woreda on the southwest, Asosa in the northwest, Oda Buldigilu in the northeast, and by the Oromia Region in the southeast. This woreda and its only town, Bambasi, are named for the tallest point in this zone, Mount Bambasi. Rivers include the Dabus, which originates in this woreda.
