Mieso, Oromia (woreda)
For the woreda in the Somali Region, see Mieso, Somali (woreda). Mieso is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Mirab Hararghe Zone, Mieso is bordered on the south by Guba Koricha, on the west by the Afar Region, on the north by the Somali Region, on the east by Doba and on the southeast by Chiro. Towns in Mieso include Arba Bordode, Asabot, Kora, Mieso and Mulu.

Asabot
Asabot is a town in eastern Ethiopia. Named after a nearby mountain, this town is located in the Mirab Hararghe Zone of the Oromia Region, with a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:9|15|N|40|34|E|region:ET_type:city|| |primary |name= }}. It is served by a railway station on the Addis Ababa - Djibouti Railway. Between 1954 and 1967 telephone service reached the town. Mobile telephone service was introduced to Asabot May 2009.

Awash National Park
Awash National Park is one of the National Parks of Ethiopia. Spanning across the southern tip of the Afar Region and the northeastern corner of the Misraq Shewa Zone of Oromia, this park is 225 kilometers east of Addis Ababa (and a few kilometers west of Awash), with its southern boundary along the Awash River, and covers at least 756 square kilometers of acacia woodland and grassland.
