Misraq Hararghe Zone

Misraq Hararghe (or "East Hararghe") is one of the Zones of the Ethiopian Region of Oromia. Misraq Hararge takes its name from the former province of Hararghe. Misraq Hararge is bordered on the southwest by the Shebelle River which separates it from Bale, on the west by Mirab Hararghe, on the north by Dire Dawa and on the north and east by the Somali Region. The Harari Region is an enclave inside this zone. Towns and cities in Misraq Harerge include Alemaya, Babille and Fugnan Bira.

Mirab Hararghe Zone

Mirab Hararghe (or "West Hararge") is one of the Zones in the Ethiopian Region of Oromia. Mirab Hararghe takes its name from the former province of Hararghe. Mirab Harerge is bordered on the south by the Shebelle River which separates it from Bale, on the southwest by Arsi, on the northwest by the Afar Region, on the north by the Somali Region and on the east by Misraq (East) Hararghe. Towns in Mirab Hararghe include Asebe Teferi, Bedessa, Gelemso, and Mieso.

Gelemso

Gelemso is a town in eastern Ethiopia, in the western periphery of the highly networked mountain chain referred to by the natives as Fugug but by geographers as the Ahmar Mountains.
