Ziway
Ziway or Zway is a town and separate woreda in central Ethiopia. It is located on the road connecting Addis Ababa to Nairobi in the Misraq Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region of Ethiopia, Ziway has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:7|56|N|38|43|E||| | |name= }} with an elevation of 1643 meters above sea level. Adjacent to Lake Ziway, the economy of the town is based on fishing and horticulture. Ziway is also home to a prison and a caustic soda factory.

Lake Zway
Lake Zway or Lake Ziway is one of the freshwater Rift Valley lakes of Ethiopia. It is located about 60 miles south of Addis Ababa, on the border between the Regions (or kililoch) of Oromia and of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples; the woredas holding the lake's shoreline are Adami Tullu and Jido Kombolcha, Dugda Bora, and Ziway Dugda. The town of Ziway lies on the lake's western shore.

Adami Tullu
Adami Tullu is a town in central Ethiopia. Located about 168 kilometers south of Addis Ababa in the Misraq Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region, Adami Tullu has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:7|52|N|38|42|E|region:ET_type:city_source:enwiki-GNS|| | |name= }} with an elevation of 1636 meters above sea level. It is one of five towns in Adami Tullu and Jido Kombolcha woreda. Adami Tulli was founded by an emigrant from Germany named Goetz around 1902.

Meki River
The Meki is a river in central Ethiopia. It empties into Lake Zway at the latitude and longitude {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:8|4|8|N|38|52|53|E| |primary |name= }}. O.G.S. Crawford identifies the Meki with a river on a map which was drawn in 1662 (there named "Machy") to illustrate Manuel de Almeida's history of Ethiopia. Crawford explains that the cartographer learned of this stream from the Jesuit missionaries residing in Ethiopia at the time of Emperor Susenyos.
