Kersa, Hararge

For the woreda in the Jimma Zone, see Kersa (Jimma). Kersa is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It is named after a river that flows through it, the Kersa. Part of the Misraq (East) Hararghe Zone, Kersa is bordered on the south by Bedeno, on the west by Meta, on the north by Dire Dawa, on the northeast by Haro Maya, and on the southeast by Kurfa Chele. The administrative center of the woreda is Kersa; other towns in Kersa include Lange.

Deder

Deder is a town in southeastern Ethiopia. Located in the Misraq (East) Oubora Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:09|19|N|41|27|E||| | |name= }} with an altitude of 2117 meters above sea level. It is the largest of three settlements in Oubora woreda. Between 1954 and 1967 Deder received telephone service. Records at the Nordic Africa Institute website provide details of several schools in the town during the year 1968.

Meta is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Misraq (East) Hararghe Zone, Meta is bordered on the southwest by Deder, on the northwest by Goro Gutu, on the north by the Somali Region, on the northeast by Kersa, and on the southeast by Bedeno. Towns in Meta include Chelenqo and Kulubi.

Kulubi

Kulubi is a town in eastern Ethiopia. Located in the Misraq Hararghe Zone of the Oromia Region, lying south of Dire Dawa, this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:9|26|N|41|41|E|region:ET-OR_type:city(4478)|| |primary |name= }} with an elevation of 2130 meters above sea level. Based on figures published by the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Kulubi has an estimated total population of 4,478 of whom 2,318 were males and 2,160 were females.
