Wuchale is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part of former woreda of Wuchalena Jido which was separated for Jido and Wuchale woredas.. Part of the Semien Shewa Zone, Wuchale is bordered on the south by Berehna Aleltu, on the west by Mulona Sululta, on the northwest by Yaya Gulelena Debre Liban, on the northeast by the Amhara Region, on the east by Abichuna Gne'a, and on the southeast by Kembibit.
