Boset

Boset is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Misraq Shewa Zone located in the Great Rift Valley, Boset is bordered on the south by the Arsi Zone, on the west by the Awash River which separates it from Adama, on the north by the Amhara Region, and on the east by Fentale. The administrative center of the woreda is Welenchiti; other towns in Boset include Bofe, Bole and Doni.

Sire, Arsi

Sire (also transliterated "Sirie") is a town in southwestern Ethiopia. Located in the Arsi Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:08|17|N|39|27|E||| |primary |name= }} with an altitude of 1793 meters above sea level. It is administrative center of Sire woreda. En route to his assignment to delineate the border between Kenya and Ethiopia, C.W. Gwynn passed through Sire in late October 1908.

Welenchiti

Welenchiti (also transliterated Wolenchite and Aualancheti) is a town in east-central Ethiopia. Located in the Misraq (East) Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a longitude and latitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:8|40|N|39|26|E||| | |name= }} and an elevation of 1436 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Boset woreda. Welenchiti is served by a railway station on the Addis Ababa - Djibouti Railway.
