Goro is a town in central Ethiopia. Located in the Mirab Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:8|23|N|37|51|E||| | |name= }}. Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, this town has an estimated total population of 2,030 of whom 983 were males and 1,047 were females. The 1994 census reported this town had a total population of 1,136 of whom 533 were males and 603 were females.

Waliso (woreda)

Waliso is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part part of former Walisona Goro woreda what was separated for Goro and Waliso woredas and Waliso Town. Part of the Debub Mirab Shewa Zone, it was bordered on the south by the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the west by Amaya, on the northwest by Wonchi, on the north by Dawo, on the northeast by Becho and on the east by Kokir. Towns in Waliso include Dilala.

Welkite

Welkite (also transliterated Wolkite) is a town and separate woreda in southwestern Ethiopia. The administrative center of the Gurage Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples' Region (SNNPR), this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:8|17|N|37|47|E||| | |name= }} and an elevation between 1910 and 1935 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by Kebena woreda and it was part of former Goro woreda.

Waliso

Waliso (also known as Ghion, which is also transliterated "Giyon" which was given by emperor Haile Selassie I and this name was no longer used after the fall of his regime as the town has the original name Waliso) is a town and separate woreda in central Ethiopia.

Amaya (woreda)

Amaya is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Debub Mirab Shewa Zone, Amaya is bordered on the south by the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the west and north by Mirab Shewa Zone, on the northeast by Wonchi, and on the east by Walisona Goro. The major town in Amaya is Gindo. Although coffee is an important cash crop of this woreda, less than 20 square kilometers are planted with this crop.
