Jinka is a market town in southern Ethiopia. Located in the hills north of the Tama Plains, this town is the capital of the Debub Omo Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region and Bako Gazer woreda. Amaro Mountains

The Amaro Mountains are a mountain range in south western Ethiopia. Extending 60 kilometers along a north-south axis east of Lake Chamo, these mountains are located in the Nechisar National Park, which lies in the Amaro special woreda. These elevations expose an assemblage of uniform, fine-grained, holocrystalline olivine-basalts with local tuff bands, resting upon the basement complex.

Debub Omo Zone

Debub Omo (or "South Omo") is a Zone in the Ethiopian Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region (SNNPR). Debub Omo is bordered on the south by Kenya, on the southwest by the Ilemi Triangle, on the west by Bench Maji, on the northwest by Keffa, on the north by Konta, Gamo Gofa and Basketo, on the northeast by Dirashe and Konso, and on the east by the Oromia Region. The administrative center of Debub Omo is Jinka.
