Jinka

Jinka is a market town in southern Ethiopia. Located in the hills north of the Tama Plains, this town is the capital of the Debub Omo Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region and Bako Gazer woreda. Bako Gazer

Bako Gazer is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. It is also called Soutjern Aari as it is part of the homeland of Aari people. Part of the Debub Omo Zone, Bako Gazer is bordered on the south by Bena Tsemay, on the west by the Mago River which separates it from Selamago, on the north by the Basketo special woreda and Gelila, on the northeast by the Gamo Gofa Zone, and on the east by Male.

Amaro Mountains

The Amaro Mountains are a mountain range in south western Ethiopia. Extending 60 kilometers along a north-south axis east of Lake Chamo, these mountains are located in the Nechisar National Park, which lies in the Amaro special woreda. These elevations expose an assemblage of uniform, fine-grained, holocrystalline olivine-basalts with local tuff bands, resting upon the basement complex.
