Viðareiði

Viðareiði is the northernmost settlement in the Faroe Islands and lies on the Island of Viðoy, which belongs to the Norðoyar Region. It lies on an isthmus with high mountains to both the north and south. The community is linked overland by a dam and tunnel system to the regional center of Klaksvík on Borðoy. The road to Viðareiði goes along the west coast of Viðoy, through the town, and then along the island's east coast to the uninhabited Miðdalur Valley with its typical small waterfall.

Cape Enniberg

Cape Enniberg is the northernmost point of the Faroe Islands, located on the Island of Viðoy. It is 754 m above sea level, altitude that makes it the second highest sea-cliff in Europe. From the landside, only experienced mountain climbers with a trained local guide should attempt to scale the cliff. As a normal hiker, one can only reach a certain height on the trail without a problem. However, as in the rest of the Faroes, fog can roll in suddenly and linger for a long time.

Múli

Múli is a town on the Island of Borðoy in the Norðoyar Region of the Faroes. Population: 4 Postal Code: FO-737 Municipality: Hvannasunds kommuna Múli lies on the outermost northern edge of Borðoy's east coast. Its settlement can be dated back to the 13th century. Múli became the last community in the archipelago to receive electricity in 1970. It was later connected with Norðdepil by Road 743 in an attempt to stop depopulation.

Norðdepil

Norðdepil is a town on the east coast of the island of Borðoy in the Norðoyar Region of the Faroe Islands. Population: 169 Postal Code: FO-730 Municipality: Hvannasunds kommuna Norðdepil was founded in 1866. Its school opened in 1895. From 1897 to 1912 a whaling station was located in the community, built by Norwegians. The first owners were Andorsen & Neumann. Norðdepil has been connected with the town of Hvannasund on Viðoy by a road on a dam since 1963.
