Nadroga-Navosa Province

Nadroga-Navosa one of the fourteen provinces of Fiji, and one of eight based in Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island. It is about 2,385 square kilometers and occupies the South-West and Central areas of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest and principal island. The province includes the Mamanuca Archipelago, off the west coast of Viti Levu, Vatulele (or Vahilele in the Nadroga Language), as well as the remote Conway Reef in the southwest.

Western Division, Fiji

The Western Division of Fiji is one of Fiji's four divisions. It consists of the three provinces Ba, Nadroga-Navosa and Ra. The capital of the division is Lautoka. It is the economic backbone of the Fiji islands,with the sugar industry,gold and tourism industry solely based in the western division. The division includes the western part of the largest island in Fiji, Viti Levu, with a few outlying islands, including the Yasawa Islands, Viwa, Waya and Vatulele.

Lawaqa Park

Lawaqa Park is a rugby union stadium in Sigatoka, Fiji. The stadium has a nominal capacity of 12,000 people. It currently hosts rugby union matches as well as local football matches.

Sigatoka, Fiji

For the banana disease, see Black sigatoka. Sigatoka is a town in Fiji. It is found on the island of Viti Levu and is situated at the mouth of the Sigatoka River, after which it is named, some 61 kilometers from Nadi. In Fiji's last census (2007) the population of Sigatoka was at 9622. Sigatoka is the principal urban centre for the province of Nadroga-Navosa. An ornate temple, open to public and built by Hare Krishna devotees, dominates the Sigatoka skyline.
