Bad Dürrheim transmitter

Bad Dürrheim transmitter was a facility for medium wave and short wave broadcasting at 48°00'12" N and 8°31'28" E at Bad Dürrheim-Ankenbuck. It was built by the Südwestfunk in 1951 and used for mediumwave and shortwave broadcasting. As transmission antenna for mediumwave, a 120 metre tall guyed mast, which was insulated against ground was used. For the shortwave transmissions a 12 metre tall mast with a diametre of 4 metres was used.

Wanne Observation Tower

Wanne observation tower is one of the oldest lattice towers in the world. It was built in 1888 by the observation tower cooperative on the 778-meter high Wanne mountain tub east of Villingen, in the Schwarzwald-Baar district in southern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was erected by bell foundry Grueninger of Villingen. The 30-meter high tower has three platforms and is remarkable for its uncommon design, as it has an octagonal cross section.

Helios Arena

Helios Arena, originally known as Eisstadion am Bauchenberg, is an arena in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany. It is primarily used for ice hockey, and is the home to the Schwenningen Wild Wings of the 2nd Bundesliga. It opened in 1976 and holds 6,215 spectators.
