Schwarze Laber

The Schwarze Laber is a river in Bavaria, Germany, and a left tributary of the Danube. Its source is near Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. It is approx. 76 km long. It flows southeast through the small towns Parsberg, Beratzhausen, Laaber and Deuerling. It flows into the Danube in Sinzing.

University of Regensburg

The University of Regensburg is a public research university located in the medieval city of Regensburg, Bavaria, a city that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The university was founded on July 18, 1962 by the Landtag of Bavaria as the fourth full-fledged university in Bavaria. Following groundbreaking in 1965, the university officially opened to students during the 1967–1968 winter semester, initially housing faculties in Law and Business Sciences and Philosophy.

Prüfening Abbey

Prüfening Abbey was a Benedictine monastery on the outskirts of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany. Since the beginning of the 19th century it has also been known as Prüfening Castle (Schloss Prüfening). Notably, its extant dedicatory inscription, commemorating the founding of the abbey in 1119, was created by printing and is a unique document of medieval typography.

Regensburg-Prüfening station

Regensburg-Prüfening station is one of the three railway stations in the German city of Regensburg used for passenger services; the others being Regensburg Hauptbahnhof and Regensburg-Burgweinting. It is located in the west of the city on Prüfeninger Schloßstrasse. In front of the station the track divides into the line to Nuremberg and the Danube Valley railway to Ingolstadt Hauptbahnhof and Ulm. This crosses the line to Nuremberg shortly after Prüfening station.

Jahnstadion (Regensburg)

The Jahnstadion is a 11,800 capacity stadium in Regensburg, Germany. It is primarily used for football and is currently the home of SSV Jahn Regensburg. Built in 1926, it also hosted five football matches during the 1972 Summer Olympics.
