Museum der Phantasie

The Museum der Phantasie (aka. Buchheim-Museum) is a museum in Bernried am Starnberger See. Named after Lothar-Günther Buchheim, whose art collection it holds, it was opened to the public on 23 May 2001. The building, designed by the architectural firm Behnisch, Behnisch & Partner, was completed in October 1999. It encompasses around 4,000 square meters and is designed to resemble a ship, with a jetty-like balcony extending out over the Starnberger See.

Tutzing station

Tutzing station is currently the only station of the Bavarian town of Tutzing and a station on the Munich S-Bahn. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 stationand has three platform tracks. It is served daily by about 130 trains operated by Deutsche Bahn, including 50 S-Bahn trains. Tutzing station is located on the Munich–Garmisch-Partenkirchen railway and is the beginning of the Kochelsee Railway to Kochel.

Polling Abbey

Polling Abbey is a former monastery in Polling bei Weilheim, district of Weilheim-Schongau, in Upper Bavaria, Germany. According to legend, the founder was Duke Tassilo III of Bavaria in about 750, but it seems more likely that the founders were members of the powerful Bavarian noble family of the Huosi. Initially this was a Benedictine monastery, but later became a house of Augustinian canons.

Feldafing displaced persons camp

Feldafing displaced persons camp in Bavaria was the first DP camp exclusively for use by liberated Jewish concentration camp prisoners. It was later used by Jewish refugees from the Russian controlled Jewish areas. The camp was located in Feldafing's Hoehenberg area and beyond.
