Passau (district)

Passau is a district (Kreis) in the southeast of Bavaria. It encloses the city of Passau geographically from two sides. Neighboring districts are (from the east clockwise) Rottal-Inn, Deggendorf, Freyung-Grafenau. To the south it borders Austria.

Gaißa

The Gaißa is a river in Bavaria, southeastern Germany, tributary of the Danube. It flows through the Bavarian Forest from North to South, crosses Aicha vorm Wald and joins the Danube northwest of Passau. Thereby the river reaches a length of approximately 25 kilometres. Due to the nearby motorway much dirt was flushed into the water from time to time. Meanwhile its grade is B quality.

Drei Flüsse Stadion

Drei Flüsse Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Passau, Germany. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of 1. FC Passau. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people and was built in 1972. For the 1972 Summer Olympics in neighboring Munich, it hosted six football matches.

Rott (river)

The Rott is a 109 km long river in Bavaria, Germany, left tributary of the Inn. Its source is in the municipality Wurmsham in Lower Bavaria, between Landshut and Waldkraiburg. It flows east through a rural area with small towns, including Neumarkt-Sankt Veit, Eggenfelden, Pfarrkirchen and Pocking. It flows into the Inn opposite Schärding, on the border with Austria.
